![]() These guys are blue soldiers for crying out loud, there is no need for Oscar-bait writing here!! Story is fine for this type of game. I would rather have this than one that tries to take itself seriously while also being based on a freakin' comic book. Story Cheesy as hell, but can be followed easily. Not too bad looking on the switch screen though, but it's no Mario Odyssey in the aesthetics department. Obviously it looks very bland in comparison to current titles. Graphics This is a PS2 game, and it is a remaster, not a remake. It is fun to play, despite it's aged looks and occasionally wonky cover system, and in my opinion, a worthy addition to the Switch's library. ![]() What matters is the fun you can have by approaching the game differently, and this game has more variety in its gameplay than some AAA games released in the last 3 years. But you know what else is repetitive? Pretty much every other game on the planet. Some people were complaining about the repetitiveness of the game. I managed to get through these after a few tries, but for some it will take hours without a doubt. The turret sections, especially the train section, were annoying. LOOT DAT CORPSE, EXPLORE DAT ENVIRONMENT!!! You will be virtually drowning in salvage if you do so, and you will make the game easier on yourself in the later levels :) Some sections of the game will be too difficult for the average player, I wouldn't be surprised if someone rage quit. Additionally, using your pistol often helps you accumulate a LOT of salvage used for your ammo, medkits and equipment upgrades, so practice your aiming. A bit unbelievable, but trust me when I say the gameplay would be way worse with a weak pistol. Pistol is OP as hell, but I would rather have that than fight bullet sponge enemies for 15 minutes straight just because I ran of of powerful ammo. Cover system can be stupid sometimes, although with my style of play I really didn't face much difficulties, even on the hardest difficulty. Multiple ways to approach Great game with a few issues that hold it back a little. ![]() Great game with a few issues that hold it back a little.
